Historical Note: Nikolai "Nick" Grushko (1902-1987) was a Russian composer, arranger, and vocalist. Grushko was born in Russia. After emigrating to the United States, he performed with George Moglioff's Orchestra. In the 1950s, he opened a Russian night club, Balalaika, at 157 W. 56th Street in New York. In the 1960s he began performing in Long Branch, New Jersey at the Fountains Motel. He died in New York on March 15, 1987.
