View of Assembly Hall construction from an AP photo with a caption that reads, "JUNE 20 - PREPARE TO POUR ASSEMBLY HALL ROOF. Contractors are pushing to start pouring the roof of the new $7,750,000 Assembly Hall at the University of Illinois. The photograph shows the forms for the folded plate concrete. The forms extend across the Assembly Hall, and as one set is poured the forms will be moved for pouring another area. These are the only forms to be built. They will be moved around the perimeter. The view also shows the extent of the depth of the steps upon which seats will be placed within the hall."
