Photo and calendar of a young Sam Trelease. He is sitting in a field side-saddle style. Trees are visible in the background of the photo. The calendar shows December 1908, and there are remnants of past calendar pages.The photo is embedded into a red mat. The back has the following written in pencil: "Merry Christmas to Grandma from Sam." There is also typed text in white font stating the inlaid calendar mat is patented by the House Co., Makers from Boston.
