Littler, (right), Champaign, who just 21 years ago today (Feb. 7) was the first student to enroll in the then new university service. Prof. Neil F. Garvey, now director of correspondence courses, looks on. Littler enrolled in a correspondence course in accountancy, and got an "A". Since, more than 26,000 persons have enrolled in mail courses, 2,200 last year, and the Extension Division serves as many students a year as the main campus.
