Walrus, an underground newspaper published by groups of students (February 1, 1968-   ), containing feature articles, cartoons, poetry, movie and book reviews, editorials and advertisements about Vietnam, racism, the University, Champaign-Urbana, middle America and middle-class values, police, drugs, sex, pollution, the Armed Services and federal, state and local governments and political affairs.  Among the groups associated with the publication of the Walrus were the Peace and Freedom Party (1968-1969) and People (1969-   ).
