A series of five color, sound motion picture films about the University of Illinois produced for circulation by the Public Information Office, including "Voice of a Great University" (1960) on teaching, "Beyond Teaching" (1956) on research, "Serving the Whole State" (1959) on public services, "Student Life" (1962) on the problems and opportunities of undergraduates and "The Dedicated" (1959) on the professional colleges at the Medical Center in Chicago. Sponsored by the Dad's and Mother's Associations, the films include interviews with faculty members; views of agricultural and scientific research projects; shots of extension, medical and business services to people; discussions of student counseling, housing, social adjustment and activities and the work of the colleges, laboratories and hospitals at the Medical Center.
