Scope and Contents of the Materials

The collection consists of two CDs containing photographs of the local rock group, Bossa Nuevo, performing during recording sessions at Champaign, Illinois' Pogo Studios between 2010 and 2011. The photographs include photos of Yarim Yengsep, Holly Holmes, Lara Driscoll, Mikael Templeton, George Turner, Cody Jensen, Matt Plaskota, Rick Deja, Any Burth, Andy Miller and David Cubberly.

Biographical Note

David Cubbery is a photographer based in Urbana, Illinois. He completed his Master's degree in music composition at the University of Illinois in 2006. Cubberly is a Senior Assoicate Producer at Volition, a local video game studio. He has played with local groups in the Champaign-Urbana area including Desafinado and the 5 Penny Theatre.
