Accession #2:

The second accession to the Papers of Sonya Salaomon (accessioned: Summer 2021) consists of two series: subject files and publications. The first series is arranged by the following topics: deed of gift and Professor Salamons CV, Professor Salamons graduate papers; information regarding the plagiarism of Professor Salamons work; research regarding rural communities and families (Newcomers book) as well as rural trailer parks and families (Singlewide book). Within each topic the folders are arranged alphabetically by title. This series contains restricted research materials under the conditions of the deed of gift that survey data, field notes, transcriptions of interviews, and other material collected from informants, including names and community names, or parts thereof, may not be copied or otherwise reproduced for a period of 50 years from date of creation. Furthermore, these restrictions are in place to maintain the anonymity of the persons who have been interviewed by Professor Salamon and/or her associates. Research use of the information contained in these interviews must not reveal the names of informants, or other demographic data which would make identification of persons possible, nor make it possible to determine their identity for a period of 50 years from date of documentation creation.

The second series, publications, is arranged chronologically. The publications range from the 1970s - 2000s. The second accession contains four folders of publications as well as two books, Adult Episodes in Japan and Singlewide.
