Papers of Lee H. Sentman (1937-2010), director of the Chemical Laser Laboratory and professor of aeronautical and astronautical engineering (1979-2002), include publications related to aeronautics and chemical lasers, correspondence, proposals, applications, and his doctorial thesis on kinetic theory, as well as meeting minutes and agendas for the College of Engineering Policy and Development committee (1984-85).

Biographical Note

Former Director of the Chemical Laser Laboratory

Conducted research concerning the fundamental understanding of the fluid dynamic, chemical kinetic and radiative interactions that determine the performance of continuous wave chemical lasers. This understanding and the resulting data base provide the basis on which technology decisions may be made in the development of these devices.
