The North-American Interfraternity Conference (formerly the IFC, or Interfraternity Conference) was founded in 1909 to promote the roles of fraternities on University campuses. The NIC currently represents 73 fraternities. The Administratice Subject Files consist of correspondence, historical information, and documents related to NIC initiatives, tax reform, and records of subsidiary groups, including the Commission on Value and Ethics, [College] Fraternity Executives Association (C/FEA), and College Fraternity Secretaries Association (CFSA).
