This collection consists of books, pamphlets and manuals on printing, typography, and linotype machines.

Collection Historical Note

Richard Pearce-Moses is an American archivist and educator. He received a BA in Jounalism and MA in American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Over his decades-long career, Pearce-Moses has worked at the Heard Museum, Arizona State University, Texas State University, and the Universtiy of Texas at Austin, and was the first director of the Master of Archival Studies program at Clayton State University. He has won numerous awards, including the American Library Association's Kilgour Award for Research in Library and Information Technology, and was recognized for his pioneering work in Digital Archives by the Library of Congress in 2010. Pearce-Moses also served as president of the Society of American Archivists from 2005-2006.
