Binding: All vols. bound in various styles of common paper notebooks; vols. 18-19 lack wrappers.
Origin: Location inferred from address on postcard. -- Other entries contain mention of Paris (v.1 fol. 71) and Japan (v.16 fol. 1r). -- Date from first line of entry for Jan 7th (v.8 fol. 1r): "To be sure it is the New Year - the year nought five." and almanac for years 1904-1905 affxed to front inside cover of v.14.
