From the description in McGeary & Nash: Late 18th-century laid paper; watermark similar to Churchill 411 and to Heawood 1829, 1835, and 1844 (but watermark, without any countersign, consists only of coat of arms with initials LVG). Manuscript occupies 73 leaves of a bound quarto volume of 101 [i.e. 91] leaves; the first leaf and the final 17 leaves are blank. On the verso of the first leaf is an inscription "Alex[ande]r Tilloch" (perhaps Alexander Tilloch, 1759-1825; see DNB 19:871-872). Occassional marginal annotations in pencil.
