Title supplied by cataloger.

Script: In a late 17th/early 18th century English hand.

Binding: Contemporary full calf with blind-tooled panels and floral ornaments (four on each board in the panel corners).

Origin: Probably composed mostly around 1694 but edited over a range of years. Dates for presentation of sermons varies from 1694 (fol. 2r) to 1730 (fol. 82v).

Provenance: Acquired from Hammelmann, 4 September 1954.

Shelfmark: Urbana, Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Post-1650 MS 223.

Lord's prayer written on front pastedown.

Fol. 1 damaged but retains dates 1702 and 1725 on recto.

Fols. 3, 43-45 and 108-124 blank. -- Fols. 125-153 blank save enumeration in lower fore-edge corners (fols. 152-153 mutilated).

Caption on fol. 42r: "E: Carleton Rect[or] of Leckhamstead Aprill 5th 1702".
