Early transcript of a writ of privy seal dated Westminster, 11 March 1545, appointing John Bernard as clerk controller of the King's Revels, and granting him for life certain properties situated within and upon the walls of the late Charter house near London.
This is an early transcript (attested 14 February 1665) of P. S. Pat., p. 14, m. 23, in the Public Record Office, London, as described in Letters and papers, foreign and domestic, of the reign of Henry VIII, XX, 1, no. 465 (29).
