	Script: Each of the 2 sections is written in a different British secretary hand (the second more cursive than the first), though each section contains additions in a few different hands.
	Binding: Contemporary gold- and blind-filleted sheepskin; floral device gold-stamped in center of each board.
	Origin: Recipe on fol. 29r dated 1634; "January" inscribed in ink on fol. 31v.  Purchased in 1918 from the collection of James Collins, Drumcondra, Ireland.
