Name: Behrensmeyer, Henry P. (1868-1948)

Historical Note: H.P. Behrensmeyer was born February 18, 1868, in Quincy, IL. Educated and later faculty at Gem City Business College, Behrensmeyer was an expert penman and engrosser who placed special emphasis on rhythm in writing, often using music to teach others. He died at the age of 80 on April 24, 1948.
