Gardner's work on the GEMINI campaign using remote sensing technology, LiDAR, 1990); the annual meeting of the College of Engineering Advisory Board (1998-1999); the formation of a Nuclear Reactor Study Committee related to the Nuclear Reactor Laboratory (1991); and discussions regarding a proposal to create a Bardeen Museum of Science and Technology (1994).
