Scope and Contents:

The Greeley family operated a farm in East Kingston, Rockingham County, N. H. This account book records the business transactions of the farm, documenting payment to workers and supply purchases. The collection also contains a 1777 indenture document whereby Levi Shaw was apprenticed as a carpenter to Jonathan Greeley, Jr., for three years, and an 1832 land deed recording the sale of land in East Kingston.

Allwynne Paulson donated these items to the University of Illinois in 1976.
