The collection of Robert Merideth's publications includes Transformations: A Dictionary of Contemporary Changes (1979) as well as a number of his articles, essays, and poems.

Merideth (1935-) received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, and served as head of American Studies at Miami University (Ohio) and the University of California at Davis. The University of Illinois, from which he graduated in 1957, received this collection from him in 1989.
