This collection consists of an incomplete run of catalogs issued by New York dealer Daniel H. Newhall from 1905 to 1938.
Daniel H. Newhall was a private dealer of Americana and Lincoln books and pamphlets based in New York.
The collection contains catalogs and lists produced by Daniel H. Newhall, which document the continuing market for Lincoln materials. The last item in the collection is a 1943 catalog of the G. A. Baker & Co. auction of Newhall's entire stock after his retirement.
Clarendon Van Norman, Sr. and Clarendon Van Norman, Jr donated the collection to the Library in 2013.
