This collection contains two documents confirming the sale of land to James Jackson in Edwards County, Illinois. James Jackson purchased land from Alan and Nancy Emerson and James Forest Jackson in 1822. In an additional agreement, James Forest Jackson consents to his tenancy on a farm owned by James Jackson.

This collection was transferred from the Rare Book and Manuscript Library in 1973.
