Copies of the University of Illinois Directory and The Alumni Record, consisting of a directory of baccalaureate, graduate and honorary Alumni listed alphabetically and geographically, giving degree, major, class, occupation and address; past and present faculty and trustees and directors of alumni clubs. The Chicago colleges are represented in the issues of 1898, 1901, 1904. Issues from 1906 to 1918, contain biographical sketches showing birth date and names of children date of death, the birth place and dates of the student's parents and are edited by Frank William Scott. Until 1918, special features were the "Annals of the University" and a historical sketch of the University. "Growth of the University by Years" is charted in 1918 and 1929. The 1918 Semi-Centennial Edition features graduates involved in the war efforts. The last five issues have photographs of campus scenes.

Alumni Association Proceedings for 1889-93 include alumni directories. In addition, the undergraduate catalog lists graduates in 1881-85, 1890-91, and 1895. The 1921 edition lists only the graduates of the Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Colleges in Chicago. The 1929 edition lists only the name, class and address of alumni alphabetically by names, by class and by location. It omits faculty and trustees. The 1987 edition lists the name, degree, class and address of members of the alumni association alphabetically by name, by location, and by class.
