Organized in 1921 as the Bureau of Business Research, in 1941 its name was changed to the Bureau of Economic and Business Research. It conducts general studies of business and economic problems.¹ It publishes its findings in the monthly Illinois Business Review² and the Quarterly Review of Economics and Business.
