Scope and Contents of the Materials
Conference on College Composition and Communication Administrative Subject Files comprise the administrative records of the CCCC, a constituent organization of the NCTE established in 1949; contains agendas and resolutions of annual business, executive committee, and officers meetings; ballots; correspondence; CCCC annual convention correspondence and agendas; committee reports and correspondence, including from the Assessment Committee, Language Policy Committee, and Technical Communication Committee; constitutions and amendments; financial reports; executive committee memoranda; data regarding annual convention participation and subscriptions to the Journal of College Composition and Communication; secretary books (1949-69) containing correspondence, meeting minutes, agendas, financial reports, mailing lists, and event participation data; annual reports; correspondence regarding the Braddock Award; handbooks and royalty statements for Longman and CCCC Bibliographies; CCCC membership surveys; and data regarding Winter Workshop participation.
