Description: Papers of Barbara Venton Montgomery (BS COMM '47) include her biography "Lovinia's Child: A Depression Tale" which describes her childhood in the Chicago area. Montgomery is the niece of UI Dean of Men Thomas Arkle Clark and the daughter of two UI graduates. She was interviewed in 2008 as part of the archives' World War II Oral History Project.
