Description: Papers of Ron Peters (1938-), Professor of Labor and Industrial Relations (1976-2004), contains correspondence, reports, a manual, research notes, an interview transcript, and memoranda concerning labor education, including a conference presentation "University Labor Education: Ideas and Experiences from a Prairie State to a Prairie Province," an interview with Hilda Smith and Frank Fernbach (1973), correspondence with and papers received from Stoyan M. Menton and Thomas E. Linton (1976), a report on Labor Extension activities and the Mass Transit Union Representative Training Project, a national training program for union and management people in the mass transit industry run by the Institute for Labor and Industrial Relations and the AFL-CIO's George Meany Center for Labor Studies (1978-82).
