Herbert K. Hackbarth Papers, 1928-30

Description: Papers of Herbert Karl Hackbarth (1904-1970), who attended UI from 1923-1930, contain photographs of campus scenes and buildings taken by Hackbarth in his position as editor of the Illinois Union and published in the 1928 Illio, a Chicago Tribune article (December 9, 1928), football souvenir programs and other campus publications. The series contains copies of Illio pages, the Tribune article, and programs in which the photos appeared. Also included is Hackbarth's 1929 Kappa Delta Rho plaque.
