Description: Correspondence with applicants & recipients of loans from the Russian Student Fund relating to applications, announcements of funds awarded, letters of recommendation from applicants' associates, analysis of student progress by instructors, grades, notifications to recipients of balances due, requests for payment, legal documents relating to collection of debts, Christmas cards & announcements, complimentary copies of publications by recipients & correspondence between Fund administrators and United Student Aid Funds.  Four volumes of the Russian Student contain essays contributed by recipients, student art work, poetry, Russian student fund announcements, editorials & registers of students by curriculum & college.  The series includes Alumni Association files relating to a directory of former students, a directory of colleges attended by recipients, field of training of recipients, seminarians aided, graduates in Church service, association officers, books, articles, awards & honors won & inventions by recipients; a scrapbook present to Alexis Wiren after forty years of service to the Fund; receipts for payments; repayment schedules; pamphlets:  The Origins of the Russian Student Fund, You Are the Boss, On Your Way Up, General Suggestions for Group Department and Section Heads; personal correspondence of Alexis Wiren relating to letters of recommendation, grades, minutes of meetings, form letters soliciting funds, board members & the Translators Project; a transcript of an original play; student data sheets, inquiries (1964-65); reprints of articles; financial statements & reports of certified public accountants; programs for the annual Student Ball (1929-33, 1935-41) & consolidation agreements.
