Robert F. Ganschinietz Papers, 1926-1932, 1994

Papers of Robert Frank Ganschinietz (1908-1994), Architectural Engineering 1931, consisting of dance cards/programs from social events held during and shortly after his time at the University of Illinois. In addition to the names of dance partners, most of the cards/booklets also contain information about the organization hosting the event, the names of chaperones/sponsors,  the musicians or bands that performed, and, occasionally, menus.

Frequent hosts were Alpha Rho Chi, of which Ganschinietz was a member, and the Emera House/Society.

Also includes a copy of Robert Ganschinietz's obituary from 1994, and a 2021 letter from the donor of the material.
