Description: Papers of Marion Pedersen Teal (1912-2000) (B.S. Journalism, 1934) contain correspondence, publications, book manuscripts and galleys, newspaper publicity, and correspondence regarding her publication of The Earth Is Ours (1948), a novel based on her move, with her husband Ray Teal, from New York City to rural DeWitt County to take over a run-down family farm and their struggles to bring the farm to a prosperous and successful condition, her neigbhors, and the need for scientific farming and soil conservation.
