Processing Note:
This collection was in considerable disorder when delivered to the Archives by Library staff. It is reported that the materials were scattered across the floors, shelves, and surfaces of Prof. Dundas' apartment. It is unclear as to whether they were left in this state prior to her passing or through the process of liquidating her estate.
Selected "Notes" folders under "Research and Project Files" (Boxes 4-5) contain Dundas’ handwritten research notes, from university courses and academic publications, relating primarily to literature, poetry, and art, with particular emphasis on the Renaissance, Renaissance humanism, Romanticism, and Classical periods/ movements, as well as on Edmund Spenser and his epic poem The Faerie Queene. Given the lack of identification of the nature of the projects for these materials (i.e., they were found scattered and loose, exhibited many folds, creases, and tears) and thus their research value was difficult to establish, they have been minimally processed by grouping like materials together and sorting by apparent topic, time period, or event.
