Description: Consists of an account written by Wayne Temple (AB '49 LAS, AM '51 LAS, PhD '56 LAS) of his time at the University of Illinois during World War II as a member of the Army Specialized Training Program and as a veteran on campus after the war. The papers also include a photograph of Temple and a copy of his diploma from the ASTP.
