Description: Papers of the Our Gang Infant day Care Center; a center for children under three years old whose parents were under 21 and continuing their education, operated by the Community Psychology Action Center of the University of Illinois including correspondence, records, manuals, notes, handouts, pamphlets, course materials, and photographs concerning the administration of the Center; the Champaign County Child Care Association and the Children's Home and Aid Society of Illinois; other organizations serving the African-American community; employees of the center; Psychology 340 and 341, practicum courses which supplied student workders for the Center; children enrolled at the Center, including daily reports of their behavior and the results of developmental tests administered to them; and parents of children at the center. Because it contains personal information regarding these children and parents, the collection is RESTRICTED and may only be used with the permission of and under conditions specified by the Psychology Department.
