The Varisty Men's Glee Club was founded in 1886 and continues as an ensemble in the School of Music's choral division. This collection consists of the group's concert and event posters, primarily for their annual "Dad's Day" concerts, documenting the performance activities of the ensemble.
The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign Varsity Men's Glee Club is an ensemble in the School of Music's choral division, and was founded in 1896. The oldest recognized student organization on campus, it was first established as the Apollo Club, and later became known as the Varsity Men's Glee Club in the 1930s. The Glee Club has toured all over the world and across the U.S., as well as their usual twice-annual concerts on campus.
