Biographical Note for Schmidt, Karen : Karen Schmidt was the University Librarian and University Copyright Officer at Illinois Wesleyan University Ames Library (2007-2019). Prior to IWU, Schmidt worked at the University of Illinois Library in collection development and acquisitions and served as acting University Librarian from 2006-2007. She also taught at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library & Information Science.
