Description:

Library postcard collection of Sjoerd Koopman contains nearly 17,500 pictorial and photographic postcards of libraries all over the world, includes public libraries, private libraries, academic libraries, library interiors, reading rooms, and bookmobiles. The ALA Archives holds digital copies of over 2,200 cards from this collection depicting libraries throughout the United States; the majority of them are also available as physical objects. New objects are added periodically.

There are no physical postcards from Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Utah, or West Virginia.
