Biographical Note for Lynch, Mary Jo : Mary Jo Lynch taught at the University of Michigan School of Library Services for two years and served as reference librarian at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the University of Detroistarted. She began working for the ALA in 1976 and by 1978 she was the director of the Office for Research and Statistics. She retired from the Office of Research and Statistics in 2003 (1).
