Biographical Note for Phenix, Katharine (1952-) :

Katharine Joan Phenix has served in several roles, including a circulation librarian at the Westminster Public Library, the director of KP Research in Boulder, the Adult Services librarian at the Huron St Anythink, and currently the Adult Services Librarian at the Rangeview Library District, Colorado.

Phenix has been involved with the ALA Committee on the Status of Women in Librarianship (COSWL), the Notable Books Council, and the Sophie Brody Medal Committee. She also served as the Chair of the ALA Equality Award Jury. In 1996, she published Subject Guide to Women of the World.
