Chelton, retired professor of the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, CUNY, YALSA Past President, and co-founder of the Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA) publication, consisting of articles, papers, and speeches by Chelton regarding youth services and intellectual freedom (1976-2011), correspondence from students and colleagues (1968-2014), class materials and evaluations from Rutgers University, Emporia State University, and Queens College, promotion materials, employment records, adult-adolscent interactions study (1993-1996), notes for talks and speeches, and a scrapbook for Dorothy Broderick's Golier Award.

Biographical Note

Dr. Mary K. Chelton is a retired professor of the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, CUNY, YALSA Past President, and co-founder of the Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA) publication. She received her doctorate at Rutgers University. She previously taught at Rutgers University and Emporia State University.
