Scope and Contents of the Materials

Papers (1989-2009) of David Miller (ALCTS CCS Chair 2006-2007, ALCTS SAC Chair 2001-2003), including correspondence, meeting minutes, notes, publications and associated research and drafts, presentation materials, form/genre access, and other documents related to his involvement in the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS), the ALCTS Cataloging and Classification Section (CCS), and the ALCTS Subject Analysis Committee (SAC) and his own personal publications and research projects. He served as a member and chair of several committees and subcommittees within ALCTS, IFLA, and other library organizations (OLAC, PCC).

Biographical Note

David P. Miller graduated in 1990 with his M.S.L.I.S. from Simmons College and has served as a member, chair, and consultant of multiple ALCTS committees. He has numerous publications, including journal articles and books, and has delivered presentations at a variety of conferences throughout his career.
