Records of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), whose locality is now part of the Mid-Atlantic region of ARLIS/NA, contain chapter publications, including newsletters, flyers, and annual and semi-annual reports; "Copyright Law for Art Librarians" video project (1985, 1987); records of secretary-treasurer Mary Castaldi; idea books and manuals; meeting materials and minutes; travel award information; and slides from the 26th ARLIS/NA Annual Conference hosted by the chapter in Philadelphia (1998). Series also includes annual reports and meeting minutes of the District of Columbia-Maryland-Virginia (DC-MD-VA) chapter, which became the Mid-Atlantic chapter in 2014, along with Mid-Atlantic bylaws (2014), history and mission (2017), chapter directory (2020), and records of the Washington Art Library Resources Committee (1998-2018) which comprised research libraries in the greater Washinton D.C. area and funded grants for members of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of ARLIS/NA. The WALRC was disbanded in 2018 and its funds were integrated in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
Hard copy holdings include Delaware Valley newsletters, flyers, reports (1986-2001), "Copyright Law" project material, Castaldi records, chapter information (bylaws, history, personnel), idea books, manuals, meeting and award items, minutes (1980-2012), and slides. Online holdings include Delaware Valley bylaws (1998), newsletters (1998, 2001), nominating committee and officer lists, and ARLIS/NA affiliation material; Delaware Valley (1999, 2002, 2004) and DC-MD-VA (2003-04, 2006-11) reports; Mid-Atlantic bylaws and history/mission document; and newsletters from the Washington/Baltimore and DC-MD-VA Chapters (1973-2005). Other electronic holdings include Delaware Valley award, election, insurance, participation, and contact information and agenda, minutes, and reports (1998-2007); DC-MD-VA (2003-05, 2007-12) and Mid-Atlantic (2014-19) minutes; and directory; for access to other electronic holdings, please contact an archivist.
