Biographical Note
The Preservation and Reformatting Section (PARS) of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services focuses on the preservation and reformatting of library materials in all types of institutions and applying new technologies to assure continued access to library collections.(1) The section was formed in 1995 when the Preservation of Library Materials Section merged with the Reproduction of Library Materials Section.
