Judy Muck Library Postcard Collection (1900-2007), contains postcards depicting public, academic, school, special, and private libraries throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Brazil, Costa Rica, French West Indies, Bulgaria, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibralter, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Tadzhikdtan, Turkey, Turkmenia, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand.

Note: Some of the postcards listed in this finding aid may not be in the ALA Archives. The McLean County Museum of History have all postcards showing Carnegie libraries designed by Bloomington, IL architect Paul O. Moratz. Moratz’s “Carnegies” opened in Edwardsville, El Paso, Fairbury, Farminton, Paxton, Pekin, and many other small and medium-sized communities in Illinois and elsewhere. The Museum also pulled all postcards printed by C.U. Williams of Bloomington, one of the more successful postcard publishers in the early 1900s.
