Biographical Note
Over the course of his career, John W. Berry worked for the University Libraries of Northern Illinois University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and served as the executive director of the Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges (NILRC) for almost 15 years. He was President of ALA from 2001 to 2002, as well as the executive director for the Library Administration and Management Association. On February 11, 2011 he was inducted as an Illinois Library Luminary Honoree. He is currently a professor of librarianship at Dominican University [1].
