Editorial files of AACR2, the University of Illinois and Joint Steering Committee (JSC) Editorial Files of Michael Gorman, editor of The Concise AACR2 (1981) and co-editor of Anglo-American Cataloging Rules, Second Edition Revised (AACR2R) (1988) and the files of the RTSD executive secretaries, contains correspondence, background documents and publication, memoranda, drafts, revisions, and publication reviews of AACR2R co-editors, Michael Gorman and Paul Winkler, and other members of the JSC, representatives from ALA, the Australian Committee on Cataloging, the Canadian Committee on Cataloging, the Library Association, the British Library, and the Library of Congress.

Note: Boxes 8-11 contain materials deposited by Margaret Stewart, JSC secretary (1996-1999), Boxes 12-21 contain materials deposited by Nathalie Schulz, JSC secretary, and Box 22 contains CDs of administrative documents concerning RDA (2005-09).
