In 1978, the Round Table Liaison Services was one of the seven branches or offices reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Director (1). Staff liaison services were made available to Round Tables to meet the following objectives and purposes: "1. aiding the officers and members in coordinating projects and programs with other units; 2. handling financial obligations and keeping records; 3. orienting new Round Table officers and groups; 4. determining procedures to expedite and conduct Round Table projects and programs; and 5. administering Round Table activities, in addition to planning these same activities (2).
