Caption reads: As part of their campaign to publicize the Minnesota State University System's opening of their new online catalog, Mankato State University library staff attracted attention by hanging a banner on the front of the library building. The 12' x 16' banner encouraged the University community to "celebrate" the new catalog and to come in and try it out. Mankato State University library staff also used T-shirts, buttons, posters, and handbills displaying their "cat" logo, in an attempt to create a carnival atmosphere publicizing their new online system.
