OIF Audiovisual Materials (Digital Surrogates) | The American Library Association Archives
Audiovisual digital surrogates from the Office of Intellectual Freedom video recordings, contain digitized copies of video recordings relating to the career of Judith Krug at the American Library Association (ALA) Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) and Intellectual Freedom Committee. Includes a memorial ceremony celebrated to honor Krug's contributions to intellectual freedom in US libraries and librarianship (April 22nd 2009); and the broadcast of the episode "Your right to say it" of the TV show "60 Minutes" (1979), concerning disputes aroused by the film "The speaker" produced by ALA, that addresses controversial positions involving freedom of speech and censorship.
