Caption reads: Indians on Parade, 1952
The Indian Reading Club of the Covington Memorial Library - Copiah Co., Hazlehurst, Miss. Lines up for a parade on the last day of the Summer Reading Program. After parading through the business district, the children retired to the library where refreshments were served in the garage and certificates were award to all children completing the program.
Mrs. E. E. Randle (story-hour chairman) and Mrs. Benjamin Simmons, Librarian, lead the parade.
